§ 01 · About
The congress

An independent, professional gathering. No product marketing on stage. All sessions follow the ICMJE disclosure framework.

A working meeting for
the vision-care community.

The Eyecare Summit convenes clinicians, researchers and educators for three days of structured exchange — from bench-level imaging advances to real-world surgical and refractive outcomes.

The programme is built by a scientific committee of twelve practising clinicians. Expect rigorous debate, small-group workshops with live case review, and ample time for informal exchange with peers from across Europe, Asia and the Americas.

In-person delegates receive CME credits, a printed programme, poster-session access and admission to the Thursday-evening reception at the Musée d'Orsay. A hybrid option is available for those who cannot travel.

We remain committed to affordability: trainee rates, bursaries for delegates from low- and middle-income countries, and full accessibility support are available on request.

Before you register.

Q/01 Who is the Summit designed for?
The Summit is a closed, professional event for ophthalmologists, optometrists, vision-care specialists, medical residents, and allied researchers. Proof of credentials is verified during registration review. Press access is available on application.
Q/02 What does the registration fee include? +
Fees cover full access to all plenary sessions, your choice of two workshops per day, the poster hall, the printed programme, on-site catering across the three days, and the Thursday evening networking reception. Simultaneous translation in English, French and Spanish is included at no extra cost.
Q/03 Are CME credits awarded? +
Yes. The Summit is accredited for up to 18 CME credits through the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education. A certificate is issued electronically within 10 working days of the event.
Q/04 Is hybrid or virtual participation available? +
Plenary sessions and a selection of symposia are streamed live and available on-demand for 60 days after the event. Workshops are in-person only due to their hands-on format. Hybrid tickets are discounted against the in-person rate.
Q/05 How is the programme reviewed for bias? +
All abstracts are blind-reviewed by two members of the scientific committee and a third adjudicator in case of disagreement. Faculty disclose financial and non-financial interests 60 days before the event, published alongside each session in the programme.

Your request enters a review queue. The secretariat typically validates applications within two working days. On acceptance, your digital badge is generated automatically and delivered by email — this is the document you present at the entrance.
